Wuit Yi Lwin is an incoming Senior Research Economist with the Agricultural Risk Policy Center at North Dakota State University. Her research focuses on international agricultural markets and trade, including market disruptions such as climate risks and animal disease outbreaks, as well as price and demand system analyses. She has examined the impacts of Transboundary Animal Disease outbreaks on the global soybean trade and the effects of climate risks on the livestock industry, focusing on disease incidence and changes in market structures.
